Activated carbon
Some contaminants in industrial waste water are not or hardly biodegradable and remain in the biologically treated effluent. We can test your industrial waste water to determine how far the substances to be removed can adsorb into activated carbon.
Quantity of substances removed
By precision testing we examine to what extent activated carbon can adsorb waste from the water.
- a Granular Activated Carbon filter
- or by dosing Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) into the aeration basin. The PAC with the adsorbed substances is then removed from the biologically treated water via the excess sludge.
